I reblog this image about once a month even as my own image, as if it just makes one person think twice……

Just never do it - It’s ruins everything and you can’t just stop like you would think. It’s an addiction that you won’t ever really get over. It’s will be with you for life. You might end up stopping but it will always be on your mind next time things turn bad or go wrong.

JUST PLEASE THINK FIRST.

Its a horrible addiction, such as smoking or drinking alcohol, it’s so hard to stop.

OH MY GOD APPARENTLY TAKING AN ARROW TO THE KNEE WAS AN OLD NORDIC SLANG FOR GETTING MARRIED 

I THOUGHT THAT ALL THOSE GUYS IN SKYRIM HAD LITERALLY BEEN SHOT IN THEIR KNEES WITH ARROWS BUT I GUESS NOT

I love her previous covers, and I can’t wait to see her new ones.  

Mary GrandPre is one of the artists whose work inspired me to follow the path of being an illustrator in the first place.

Do you know that she didn’t want to get her image of the characters mixed up with the actors for the movies, so she didn’t see any of them until after the seventh book was published.  THAT ladies, and gentlemen, is dedication.

Also, those third and fourth drawings have such beautiful color, movement, and atmosphere.  I sort of want both as posters for my wall…

When I found out that she was an alum of MCAD I just about squealed in excitement.
